LPS Insurance Risk Management Services (IRMS) builds and provides geographic (GIS) representations of property and hazard territories within the U.S. and supplies this data to the insurance industry. We utilize source data provided by our business associate, Insurance Services Office, Inc. (ISO), and combine it with commercially available address-oriented data to build digital representations of multiple types of insurance risk areas. Our proprietary software matches all available addresses in the U.S. with each type of insurance risk and generates a compressed, product-specific database for license (by ISO) to insurance companies under the LOCATION® trademark.
