Eric Swenson 

Eric Swenson is Co-Chief Operating Officer of LPS and President of the Mortgage Information Services division of LPS. He is responsible for leading the company’s LSI, Default and Office of the Enterprise groups. He also manages all of the company’s mortgage data and information businesses, including its real estate tax, public records information, credit, flood and valuation divisions.

He previously held the position of President for Fidelity National Information Services' Mortgage Outsourcing and Information Services division. During his tenure with the company, he has played a key role in the development of specialized products and services for the mortgage industry.

Eric’s leadership is characterized by empowering every member of his team to offer the highest level of service to customers. By embracing cutting-edge technologies and implementing new business systems, he has increased the range of services that LPS is able to provide to a broad base of customers. Eric’s personal as well as professional standard of performance is "expect excellence," and he is committed to delivering on his word.

Eric’s professional experience covers a span of nearly 25 years and a wide array of businesses from entrepreneurial successes with start-up companies to prominent real estate and mortgage industry positions. He joined FNF in March of 2000 when FNF purchased Chicago Title Insurance Company. Since that time he has held several executive positions including: President/COO of FNIS; EVP Southern California Regional for Chicago Title, Fidelity National Default Solutions, Fidelity National Lender Solutions, National Relocation Division, Lender’s Service Inc. (LSI), Property Insight; and Managing Director of Financial Service Solutions, Inc. (a 50/50 Joint Venture with Bank of America).

He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Los Angeles and worked in Washington D.C. as a Legislative Assistant for two U.S. Congressmen. He has also served at the highest level of several real estate and mortgage industry associations.

In addition to professional organizations and real estate associations, he has given much of his time to various community-based groups, including the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Boy Scouts of America and the Weingart Center.
